From the beginning of time, God blessed man with the ability to appreciate beautiful things. He is the inventor of beauty and wants us to enjoy things such as architecture, art, photography, interior design, furniture, color, and pattern. I am thankful to God for his kindness in blessing humans with gifts and talents in these areas.
"The Lord will open to you his good treasury, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season and to bless all the work of your hands." ~Deuteronomy 28:12
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will recieve the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." ~Colossians 3:23
Even in something such as art or design, we can work to the glory of God. That is the fun of interior design: to serve God by serving others by making their environment a more beautiful, practical, efficient, fun place to dwell. (My new favorite word... dwell).

Love this post. You are exactly right. We can bring God glory in all work we do. Big or small. I bet you are wonderful at interior design.
